Beatrice Prior, a young girl who's sixteen makes an unexpected desicion on which faction she chooses and her choice shocks everyone in the crowd... including herself. She is pushed to the extreme in both mental and physical training. Her secret is safe but even her closest friends can appear as a threat... no one knows what it is or what she is. Her secret could destroy her.
I recommend this book for boys and girls who are competent readers because when I was reading it, it had a variety of new words I have never heard of. I also recommend it for people who want to increase their vocabulary.
