The Lemonade Kid...

The old western music started playing as Old Sal (Marika) walked on stage slowly with a crippled old leg. Everyone froze and it was dead silent. All of a sudden the lights turned on and shined in my eyes, it was so bright. The music started playing again and the whole school was singing the first song. After that it was the first scene. The stage was boiling hot and I was wondering if my make-up would drip. I was a saloon girl wearing a long white dress standing next to Charlet who was also wearing a white dress. I loved hearing everyone who was on stage singing but my favourite was room 3 doing their dance because back stage all the saloon girls  were doing the dance too and trying to peak through a hole to see what was going on on stage. The Lemonade Kid was a fantastic production that the school had done, so I wonder what the next one is going to be like!

Softball...

Whack! The Ball cut through the air like a bullet, we had just scored a home run against Alfriston Primary School at ECCS softbal fun day. It was a blast playing with all the other teams whether we were fielding  or batting. Next person to bat was me and I didn't want to get out so I tried to bat it as hard as I can, SMACK!!! the ball went up in the air high like a rocket, Sophie was already on base one so when I hit it she sprinted as fast as she could, "nice one," said Keenan's dad Deryck I had just scored a home run and was absolutely thrilled. Softbal was a really fun and cool time and I would definitely do it again.

CAMP:)

"ONIONS ONIONS ALL THE WAY, BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!" We screamed out our chant like we were talking through a microphone. It was Thursday night, the night of our bonfire, the orangey red flames flickered during the night as the flames got bigger or smaller feeding on the bark and wood. We did a mini quiz to see how much we've been learning at camp and to see if we've been listening, everyone loudly whispered the answer in excitement. The sparkling stars shone bright in the night sky as the night got even better, it was time for a makeup facial for the adults as they got a disgusting combination of water, girl guide biscuits and sun block all mushed onto their faces and they had peas and gravy as shampoo for their hair, it was definitely a highlight for me. The bonfire was one of the best things we did at camp and I wish we could do it again.

My Moon Myth.,.

Room 1 are creating myths about the moon. My myth is about a girl who disobeys her father and as punishment gets casted into the sky and turns into the moon. When she's sad she goes slimmer and slimmer and when she's happy she turns into a full moon and you can see her face glowing

#Cosmodome

"Whoa! that is so cool ," I said as the lustrous stars gleamed in the cosmodome.  Rob Fisher an amazing astronomer was talking to us about space. We learnt about how the stars appear starting with the brightest, Sirius to the least brightest of them all. He showed us wonderful constellations  from butterflies to scorpions and even a man with a belt around his waste who is known as Orion. He showed us cool videos of  what happens in space and what type of equipment you would need to have in space and what it's like. The cosmodome  was really awesome and I learnt lots about all the stars and how to find them at night so I love to try and look for the constellations in the night sky.
